On August 5, 2025, the management team of Titan, the wearable device division under Tata, visited Shentong. As a leading enterprise in the watch battery sector, Shentong engaged in in-depth exchanges with the Titan team to explore new cooperation possibilities.
Meeting: Initiating Cooperation
Shentong's founder Chen Xiao kicked off the dialogue with the Titan team via video, discussing industry trends and potential collaboration directions. Doogie, head of foreign trade, delivered a professional explanation of core battery technologies, application features, and outlined the company's development journey with 13 key figures, highlighting its strength in R&D, production, and sales of high-end watch batteries. Senior executives (covering marketing, market, project, cell R&D, PACK R&D, and quality) then addressed Titan's concerns in
details.
Workshop Tour: Showcasing Quality Strength
In the third-floor workshop, the Titan team witnessed stringent incoming material inspection processes and advanced equipment—forming the first "safety lock" for product quality. The orderly auxiliary material area and automated production lines, operated by robotic arms and monitored by intelligent systems, demonstrated Shentong's capabilities in large-scale, high-quality manufacturing.
Research Institute Visit: Solidifying Technical Foundations
At the first-floor research institute, a hub for cutting-edge watch battery R&D, Shentong emphasized its role in tackling industry challenges. As a strategic partner of SGS and an adherent to standards like GB31241-2022 and BIS, it reinforced Titan's confidence in its quality systems. The cell R&D director, Luo Bo, provided thorough responses to technical queries, deepening mutual trust.
